ART SG, the international art fair, has made a grand return for its second edition at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, nestled in the heart of Singapore at Marina Bay Sands. Scheduled from January 19-21 2024, the latest edition promises a captivating showcase with over 110 galleries hailing from 33 countries and territories, presenting the epitome of contemporary art practice.

The event kicked off with a VIP Preview and Vernissage on January 18, offering a glimpse into the diverse world of art. The fair goes beyond conventional boundaries, featuring curated gallery presentations, ambitious large-scale installations, insightful conversations, a compelling film program, and expansive city-wide activations. In collaboration with Singapore Art Week, the city’s annual celebration of visual arts, ART SG 2024 is poised to be a cultural extravaganza.

Distinguished into three main sectors, namely GALLERIES, FOCUS, and FUTURES, the 2024 edition promises a rich tapestry of artistic expressions. With 68 leading international and regional galleries participating, the showcase encompasses multi-disciplinary presentations, including painting, sculpture, drawing, installation, photography, video, and digital works. Renowned names such as White Cube and TARO NASU will grace the event, featuring artists like Tracey Emin, Isamu Noguchi, Simon Fujiwara, and more. Noteworthy Southeast Asian galleries will make their dynamic debut, offering a blend of established and emerging artists. The FOCUS sector shines a spotlight on 36 presentations, emphasizing the development of artistic practices, exploration of different mediums, and showcasing emerging to mid-career artists.

Additionally, FUTURES, dedicated to supporting young galleries, presents 11 galleries with specially curated presentations. Throughout the fair, visitors can immerse themselves in large-scale, site-specific installations, enjoy a curated film program, and engage in thought-provoking talks with art world leaders, making ART SG 2024 a truly immersive and enriching experience.
