Often a forgotten application lost in the depths of your start menu, the MS Paint application never seemed to have much promise, that is, until you see the artwork created by Miranda Lorikeet, whose Tumblr username is Lazy Bones. During the day, she’s an HR assistant, but by night she creates beautiful pieces of digital art simply using Paint. The work is vibrant, colorful, playful and simple. Using a photo reference, Lorikeet uses the application’s limited tools such as fill, copy and paste to create different layers, creating work many thought unlikely from the application. Check out more of her work on her Tumblr page.
