Steven Harrington‘s “INSIDEOUT” exhibition at the Known Gallery follows up its September 1 conclusion with an exhibition video. In this Jason Miller production, the Los Angeles-based contemporary artist muses about his work and its motivation, how he conveys a thought with imagery, and discusses the idea of stacking in his compositions and how it relates to balance. He also promotes a lucid self-realization concerning our human attempt to attain balance: “I think our lives are all kind of bound to fall apart at some point in time. The key is to really know that the world around us isn’t a perfect place… it’s us who are trying to make perfect sense out of all of it.”
