In the wake of its highly anticipated collaborative collection with Swedish retailer H&M, luxury couture label Maison Martin Margiela becomes the latest victim to Parisian graffiti artist Kidult‘s vandalism. Possibly the most elaborate piece to date, the facade of MMM’s Belgium store in Brussels is covered with a red heart and the word “Love” scribbled atop. Additionally, the phrase, “OUR MISERY, NOT YOURS!” and a trio of skull stencils can also be seen at the bottom right of the piece. As with each Kidult piece we pose the same question, is he a glorified vandal or righteous street artist? What are your thoughts?
