As part of an upcoming major exhibition at Museo Jumex.

Titled ‘Damien Hirst, To Live Forever (For a While)’, this exhibition catalog published by Rizzoli centers on the theme of mortality, showcasing a comprehensive selection of Hirst’s acclaimed artworks meticulously curated to offer visitors a profound artistic experience. From the renowned formaldehyde series, notably the iconic shark piece, “Death Denied,” to the intricate butterfly collages, each piece demonstrates Hirst’s ability to enthrall audiences and provoke introspection.

Presented as a major exhibition at Museo Jumex amid the celebration of both its 10th anniversary and Hirst’s debut showcase in Mexico City, the collection comprises over 50 works sourced from various international collections. Hirst, who has elements in his creative that reference inspiration from Mexican culture, particularly the Day of the Dead, considers Mexico a second home.

The exhibition catalog will be available for purchase online and select stores on June 11, 2024. Head to Rizzoli’s official website to learn more.
