Explore Forbidden Locations in Chicago With Daring Photographer trashhand

Scale decrepit buildings and trot along railroad tracks in this immersive 360º video.

trashhand is widely-recognized for capturing a slew of forbidden and abandoned places in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois. The madcap photographer has scaled skyscrapers, ventured into ramshackle churches and crawled beneath high bridges that only a brave albeit reckless few would even dare to attempt. How the hell does he do it? Well, thanks to a brand new 360º video by Skillshare, trashhand fans can get an up close look at his thrill-seeking adventures in the Windy City. The nearly four-minute clip offers an immersive experience, allowing viewers to touch and drag the screen to a desired point.

Plunge yourself into the gritty world of the Chicago native by watching “Off Limits: Photographing Chicago’s Unknown with trashhand” above and then check out his free, street photography class on Skillshare here.

Note to smartphone viewers: open the video in the YouTube app for an immersive 360 experience.
