Little Gerla, a collection of four limited edition vases — created by cutting marble tiles with water jets — has been unveiled by Italian designers Paolo Ulian and Moreno Ratti. The super exclusive range of delicate and ornate vases were formed with water jet cutting technology and the two compatriots ongoing desire to create beautiful things out of waste materials. Last summer the pair collaborated on a marble vase that was finished by smashing it’s exterior shell with a hammer and this time they have again utilized leftover and discarded marble tiles from the floor of their craft companies.
