New Zealand photographer Amos Chapple presents a series of spectacular bird’s eye view shots of some of the world’s most extraordinary architectural and natural wonders in his “Air” photo series. Though some of these sites have been visited by countless numbers of people from all around the world, the full appreciation of the scale and design is often lost at ground level. Among the landmarks captured are the Taj Mahal, Lotus Temple, Fort Bourtange, as well as select sections of Barcelona and Mumbai’s cityscape. Many of the shots were taken prior to the restriction of drone photography during an 18-month span, making them all the more special. Check out these amazing bird’s-eye views above and for more of Chapple’s works, visit his website here.
