In honor of Damien Hirst‘s retrospective exhibition at the Tate Modern, the London gallery caught up with artist, former Goldsmith College teacher and “Young British Artists” mentor Michael Craig-Martin to capture his thoughts on his most famous pupil. The resulting video sees the educator revisiting an array of Hirst’s earliest works including the first Spot paintings, Medicine Cabinets and his iconic installation A Thousand Years. Featuring more than 70 works spanning Hirst’s storied career, the exhibition is set to remain on display through September 9, 2012.
