Nick Veasey is best known as the “X-Ray Photographer,” so it comes as little surprise that his latest photographical exhibition is appropriately titled “It’s What’s on the Inside That Counts.” The photo collection will be exhibited at the Richard Goodall Gallery in Manchester, United Kingdom and is expected to showcase some of the British artist’s most unique works. Of course Veasey doesn’t have access to any special technology; rather, each glowing print is a collage of sorts, comprised of a series of smaller genuine X-rays which are then carefully layered together to achieve the desired effect. And if the images provoke thoughts of how it feels to live in a carefully surveillanced society, then Veasey’s work will have accomplished what it set out to do. “It’s What’s on the Inside That Counts” is currently slated to run until July 28.
