Renowned architect Zaha Hadid was recently commissioned by Dover Street Market to create a special installation in honor of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. Nicknamed “Aqua,” the monochromatic work features an undulating design inspired by the geometries of the London Aquatics Centre – another Hadid design and home to various swimming and diving events at this year’s Olympics. “Aqua” will remain on display in the window of DSM throughout the remainder of this summer’s games.
