Star Wars has played muse to scores of fans of virtually all walks and backgrounds since the original film debuted in 1977. A new group exhibition at PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO and PARCO GALLERY in Osaka brings together 13 global artists who created unique paintings in their respective style that pay homage to all things The Force.

Presented in collaboration with NANZUKA, PASSION STRENGTH POWER centers around core themes related to each of the nine films, and the seemingly endless stream of side shows. Artists within the exhibition include celebrated names, such as Hajime Sorayama, Daniel Arsham and James Jarvis, as well emerging talent, from Stickymonger, Yoon Hyup and Nicolas Jullien.

“There are too many to answer, but Darth Vader is exceptional,” said exhibiting artist Hiroki Tsukuda in a statement. Darth Vader is a symbol of good and evil, life and death, parents and children, and everything in between.”

The exhibition will be on view at PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO until May 13 and PARCO GALLERY in Osaka until June 3.
