Daniel Arsham Links with 'The Lorax' For Earth Day

The first time an artist has collaborated with Dr. Seuss Enterprises.

To celebrate Earth Day, Daniel Arsham looked to one of everyone’s favorite canonical “take care of the planet” tales: The Lorax. In partnership with Dr. Seuss – marking the first time an artist has ever officially collaborated with Dr. Seuss Enterprises – Arsham curated his own iteration of the classic story, complete with hand-drawn artwork and fully recycled paper.

Arsham’s iteration of the book comes complete with 25 original drawings.  A poster emulates Arsham’s new cover art for the timeless story.

A full merchandise capsule also accompanies the book’s release, complete with eco-friendly apparel (crafted from eco-cycle materials) and porcelain trays.

Apparel spans hoodies and t-shirts, with hoodies arriving in white and featuring a smaller graphic on the front with the cover art on the back, and long-sleeve tees surfacing in baby blue. The tees read “The Lorax Arsham Studio” on the front and see the Lorax himself resting atop a Truffula Tree with Arsham’s “A” stamped on it.

View the full collection now at Daniel Arsham’s official webstore, and expect the full range to be released for purchase this Friday, April 26.
