MoMA Announces New Partnership With Richard Mille

To support MoMA’s upcoming contemporary collection installations.

The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) has launched a new partnership with French luxury watch brand Richard Mille. In this new multi-year partnership, Richard Mille is said to establish and strengthen its connection to the art world. Pledging its commitment to supporting artistic innovation and visionary creativity.

Richard Mille’s involvement with MoMA aims to push the boundaries of creativity through modern artistic expression. They will play a pivotal role in supporting the presentation of the museum’s most groundbreaking contemporary program. Specifically, the partnership will aid in the dynamic and evolving display of MoMA’s cutting-edge contemporary art collection in the
second-foor galleries, as well as The Marie-Josée and Henry Kravis Studio, a vital space
for artists exploring new and experimental art forms.

Part of the partnership saw the highly anticipated return of Christian Marclay’s The Clock. By taking thousands of film clips over a century of filmmaking into a 24-hour montage, synchronized in real time, the installation is a fitting collaboration for Richard Mille. Deeply rooted in precision timekeeping, the clock is a prelude of upcoming exhibitions supported by the watch brand. Amanda Mille, Global Brand & Partnerships
Director of Richard Mille said in a statement, “This new partnership strengthens our commitment to the world of art. We are thrilled to partner with MoMA, a world-renowned institution that shares our passion for pushing the boundaries of creativity. This collaboration allows us to explore the intersection of art, technology, and design in new and exciting ways, refecting the very essence of what Richard Mille stands for. Together, we aim to inspire and engage our community to celebrate the spirit of modern artistry.”
