Autograph Collection Hotels and Fotografiska Spotlight Award-Winning Photographers in 'Impressions'

Showcasing unique perspectives of Berlin, San Pedro, Oklahoma City, and Tokyo.

Autograph Collection Hotels and Fotografiska have teamed up on an exciting new collaboration entitled “Impressions.” The project showcases the work of four talented photographers residing at Autograph Collection Hotels, capturing extraordinary locations with their unique perspectives. Altogether, the collaboration will feature installations at Fotografiska museums and Autograph Collection Hotels properties worldwide, allowing viewers to experience Berlin, San Pedro, Oklahoma City, and Tokyo through the lens of the photographers. Short films will also be captured to provide insights into the creative process and inspiration of each artist.

At Hotel Luc, Autograph Collection, Jonas Bendiksen explored Berlin’s streets, seeking spontaneous moments of inspiration. Immersed in the light and colors of San Pedro at Alaia Belize, Autograph Collection, Cristina de Middel blurred fact and fiction to find truth. Gregory Halpern portrayed the emotional essence of Oklahoma City at The National, Autograph Collection, through unconventional encounters. Alessandra Sanguinetti delved into the character and mystery of Tokyo at Mesm Tokyo, Autograph Collection, revealing unseen dimensions with dramatic contrast in her image

“In ‘Impressions,’ we’re excited to shine a light on the vision, craft, heartfelt design, and unique stories of various Autograph Collection Hotels properties and their communities around the world through the lens of four wildly talented photographers, resulting in an indescribable, lasting impression,” said Jennifer Connell, Global Brand Leader, Autograph Collection Hotels and Vice President, Distinctive Premium Brands, Marriott International.

Moreover, limited edition prints will be available for purchase on Fotografiska.com and select Autograph Collection Hotels properties, with proceeds benefiting The Bronx Documentary Center, a non-profit gallery, educational center, and cultural resource.

“Impressions” made its debut at Fotografiska New York on July 21 and will later travel to Fotografiska’s Berlin and Shanghai locations. Select Autograph Collection Hotels properties around the world, starting with Grand Bohemian Lodge Greenville, Autograph Collection in South Carolina, followed by The Press Hotel, Autograph Collection in Portland, Maine, Bankside Hotel, Autograph Collection in London, UK, and Nanjing, Jiangning, Autograph Collection in China, will also showcase the artwork.

Guests staying at Autograph Collection Hotels properties will enjoy exclusive benefits, such as complimentary museum admission to Fotografiska New York, Stockholm, Tallinn, Berlin, and Shanghai, half-priced guest tickets, priority reservations, discounts on select programs and events, and a complimentary beverage during Happy Hour. Additionally, Autograph Collection Hotels is offering guests at select properties complimentary access to Lomography 35mm film cameras and film rolls, along with expert tips from celebrated photographers. This initiative aims to encourage guests to capture striking photography during their stay.
