Daniel Arsham Debuts 20th-Anniversary Exhibition at The Standard's Global Locations
In collaboration with Perrotin, the showcase features some of the most celebrated looks from the artist’s two-decade-long career.

The Standard has partnered with Perrotin to host an exhibition of Daniel Arsham’s most celebrated works made across his 20-year career. Situated at The Standard, High Line, The Standard, London and The Standard, Bangkik Mahanakhon, the decades-spanning showcase will honor the artist’s monumental anniversary in tandem with dual exhibitions at Perrotin Paris and New York.
At the High Line, Arsham’s multi-part exhibition will begin with a public installation of his Relics of Kanto Through Time sculpture series. The site-specific project expands upon the artist’s signature eroded sculptures, recreating cult Pokémon characters, including Pikachu, Mewtwo and Trainer, with the technique.
Arsham has also cut the ribbon on a series of crystallized eroded busts at The Standard, London, as part of Frieze London 2023. The artworks include the Ash and Pyrite Eroded Bust of Antinous, the Quartz Eroded Lucius Versus, and the Blue Calcite Eroded Bust of Virgil. Notbaly, to create these sculptures, Arsham received access to the Réunion des Musées Nationaux Grand Palais (RMN), a 200-year-old French molding atelier that specializes in recreating historical masterpieces.
This latest exhibition marks a special celebration of Arsham’s longstanding relationship with the global lifestyle hotel, which first began in 2014, when he debuted his Pixel Clouds exhibition. “We are proud to collaborate once again with Daniel Arsham, one of the world’s foremost contemporary artists, by exhibiting his compelling installation across our Standard properties.” said Amber Asher, chief executive officer of Standard International.
Daniel Arsham’s 20th-anniversary exhibitions will be on view at The Standard’s global locations for the duration of the year.
