Nissan Is Auctioning off an Exclusive NFT of the 2021 GT-R NISMO

The car is included.

Juniper Park/TBWA is working with Nissan Canada to auction off a unique NFT of the car manufacturer’s iconic GT-R sports car. The project is in conjunction with Canadian artist, Alex McLeod, who has created an iridescent NFT which will start at the reserve price of CA$280,000 / USD $220,000.

For those ruminating on the steep price, the winner of the auction will not only receive the NFT, but a one-of-one 2021 Nissan GT-R NISMO Special Edition as well — making the event highly desirable for collectors. In a promotional video on the auction, McLeod said he welcomed the challenge of bridging the gap between something “familiar and from another world,” adding that there is a “mix between reality and surreality, allowing the viewer to enter into a portal that they’ve never been.”

If the final sale exceeds the base price, the remaining money will be donated to one of Nissan’s charity partners. To bid, visit NFT platform, RUBIX, when the auction commences from October 5 to 7.

Also on auction, Moncler and Artsy present new art with 100% of proceeds going to charity.
