Compound Gallery Spotlights "The Art of Culture" in Virtual Exhibition and NFTS

Proceeds to benefit the Black Artist Fund.

New York City’s Compound Gallery is currently hosting a virtual exhibition called “The Art of Culture” in partnership with Forbes. The exhibition will feature the work of seven artists who have created interdisciplinary pieces touching on the themes of culture, community and social consciousness.

One of the participating artists is Maryland-based Lawrence “Naturel” Atoigue. Naturel is best known for his dynamic visual works that blend pop art and cubism with a surrealistic approach. His works are currently in the collections of celebrities including Swizz Beatz, Rihanna, Spike Lee, Paul Rosenberg and LeBron James, among many others.

Coinciding with the virtual presentation is a collection of prints and NFTs by the artists. A portion of proceeds from the sale of all works will be donated to Black Artist Fund — a nonprofit organization that spearheads various initiatives to fight systemic inequity in art.

Check out a still from Naturel’s NFT for the collaboration above and then head to Compound Gallery’s website for more information.
