AOF and Mitre Link for Art-Infused Football Capsule

Inspired by the works of Matisse and Keith Haring.

Following its recent upcycled Euros capsule, London-based creative studio Art of Football returns alongside British heritage sports brand Mitre for a five-piece art-inspired ball collection.

Founded in 1817, Mitre is a British sports equipment manufacturer known mostly for its high-quality and durable footballs. Now linking up with Art of Football for what’s already a busy 2021, the pair dress five footballs in unique and familiar designs, drawing inspiration from the work of artistic greats like Matisse and Keith Haring.

Bespoke designs have been applied to each ball using a range of techniques like drawing, painting and spray painting, comprising the same colors as the iconic Mitre Ultimax 95 football.

To get your hands (or feet) on one of the limited-edition balls, the full AOF x Mitre collection is being donated to Football Beyond Borders charity auction which takes place next month.
