Medicom Toy & Brandalism Unveil Black Edition of Banksy-Inspired 'Flower Bomber' Figure

Inspired by one of the British artist’s most iconic artworks.

In 2015, Medicom Toy joined forces with UK anti-advertising initiative Brandalism on a special collaborative sculpture entitled Flower Bomber. Following their inaugural installment in white, the duo now returns with an exclusive black edition.

The 14-inch-tall collectible, constructed out of holystone, was designed by PERFECT-STUDIO. Altogether, the three-dimensional figure pays homage to Banksy’s 2003 stencil of a masked rioter brandishing a flower bouquet instead of a molotov cocktail; with many describing it as a symbol of peace in the midst of violence and adversity.

Priced at $434 USD each, the black edition will soon release at Medicom Toy stores and select Japan stockists such as SYNC. For more limited collectibles, take a look at this week’s Best Art Drops.
