OSGEMEOS Previews Upcoming "Déjà Vu" Exhibit at Lehmann Maupin in Hong Kong

Art Basel-bound.

While art aficionados the world over patiently wait for Art Basel Hong Kong to commence, we thought to take a closer look at some featured works offered by Brazilian-based OSGEMEOS. The celebrated street art duo is scheduled to open a solo exhibit titled “Déjà Vu,” which will include new paintings and a sound installation derived from some of their earliest and most dear inspirations.

Presenting expressive caricatures in various lifestyle scenarios, both realistic and dream-like, the artistic projects draw creative influence from such genres as hip hop, graffiti culture, folk art, and everyday life on the streets. For those interested, “Déjà Vu” will make its debut on March 26.

In case you missed it, Takashi Murakami is opening another new solo show next month.
