ESPO and Artist Jenny Sharaf Unleash Collaborative Piece Under Tokyo Subway Station

A creative expression summarizing the city’s dynamic flair.

Stephen “ESPO” Powers and artist Jenny Sharaf recently joined forces to create an imaginative piece situated just below Tokyo’s Nakameguro station. With Sharaf’s contribution titled “Super Fresh Paint,” the San Francisco-based creative applied a cluster of cherry blossoms and other lively imagery, while ESPO devised a pictorial love letter to Tokyo named “Life Can Be Beautiful,” drawing influence from the city’s dynamic energy.

When asked to comment on his main influence for the art piece, ESPO had this to add, “Whenever you come to Tokyo, you will experience the feeling that you are too big and that it is a very small presence at the same time. It’s an exciting experience forever.
