Danish Photographer Søren Solkær Presents Striking Portraits of the World's Street Artists

The likes of Blek Le Rat, Swoon, Space Invader, D*Face and CYRCLE like you’ve never seen them before.

In a project that spanned three years and 13 cities, Danish photographer Søren Solkær has captured vivid portraits of more than 130 of the world’s most renowned street artists. Having to work around the anonymous facades of many of these street artists, Solkær nonetheless was able to portray the creators in their natural environment of alleyways, rooftops and studios, with the likes of Blek Le Rat, Swoon, Space Invader, D*Face and CYRCLE making notable appearances. Entitled SURFACE, the final book features over 240 full-page portraits with a foreword by the photographer, with select pieces from the project being showcased at a series of exhibitions worldwide, including Sydney, Melbourne, New York, Los Angeles, Copenhagen and Vancouver.
