Spanish native Gonzalo Garcia Calvo has completed an interesting origami project that’s as impressive as it is beautifully detailed. Based out of Madrid, Calvo took on the challenge of the popular Japanese art form and has created modern, ultra-realistic animals like dragons and woolly mammoths, musical instruments and even characters such as Yoda. Limited only by the dimensions and textures of the origami paper, Calvo’s creations are a testament to the evolution of the centuries-old art form while utilizing the core techniques of paper folding.
