With our latest issue of the HYPEBEAST Magazine now firmly settled on newsstands, coffee tables and perhaps a few bathrooms, we present a selection of outtake images that didn’t make the cut into Issue 7: The Legacy Issue. This edition of Outtakes include supporting images from our trip to Madrid, Spain to capture Nike‘s plans for this year’s World Cup, which shows further details of its football gear. Keeping to football, we have additional shots of Clothsurgeon founder Rav Matharu who went from promising professional football player to fashion designer of one of UK’s most coveted outerwear brands. Moving on to basketball, we have unseen images of LA Laker’s Nick Young A.K.A Swaggy P from when we visited him at his home and asked him to select his best threads from his own wardrobe. Lastly we have Japan-raised, New York-based artists Hiro Kurata who has artistically encapsulated his personal experience of growing up in Japan during a time when baseball was the country’s national pastime. If this is all news to you, be sure to pick up a copy of The HYPEBEAST Magazine issue 7: The Legacy Issue to delve further into these stories and more at the HYPEBEAST Store or select stockists near you.
