California-based artist Trav recently took to The Seventh Letter flagship store and gallery to showcase his latest exhibition “END OF THE BEGINNING.” Having honed his skills in letter-based graffiti and typography, Trav delivered an expansive body of work upheld by bright colors and bold strokes — blending retro hand-lettered and sign painting motifs with a vibrant, pop sensibility. Geometric patterns play backdrop to modern-day expressions such as “About That Life,” and “So Fucking What,” intriguing viewers with oil paintings that straddle the line between traditional advertising art and graffiti styles. “END OF THE BEGINNING” is now on show till July 12, be sure to drop by if you’re in Los Angeles.
