Having previously teased his highly anticipated mysterious Stranger project, director J.J. Abrams has finally lifted the veil on S with Doug Dorst. Initially kicking off the buzz with a one-minute teaser trailer, speculations surrounding the project predicated a collaborative television series or film, but the duo revealed today that the two had joined creative forces on a new mystery novel. Titled S, the book – which was conceived by J.J. Abrams and written by award-winning novelist Doug Dorst – follows a college senior and a graduate student, who cross paths upon the discovery of a book which results in their interference with darker and bigger forces that they do not fully understand.
