Los Angeles videographer and director Van Alpert recently took his travels to New York to hang out with the guys at aNYthing. Filming his antics around the city via a short video diary, Alpert captures in a nutshell what the Big Apple has to offer. Aside from showcasing the usual sights of the Statue of Liberty and Times Square respectively, the clip also unveils the grittier side of the city, where street fights and crime are far from uncommon. Shot with a DIY aesthetic and an acute eye for compelling content, the short offers an authentic look at New York city life through the course of one weekend.
