KAWS to Open an Exhibition at Galerie Perrotin New York this Fall
In addition to his high-profile turn as the designer of the reworked “Companion Moonman” for this

In addition to his high-profile turn as the designer of the reworked “Companion Moonman” for this year’s Brooklyn-set MTV Video Music Awards, KAWS is set to be one of the first artists to display at Galerie Perrotin‘s forthcoming New York City location. The celebrated artist took to Instagram over the weekend to highlight a few unfinished paintings that will be part of the exhibition – his first stateside showing since last February’s “Down Time” exhibition at Atlanta’s High Museum of Art – to kick off the opening of the new Manhattan art outpost. Stay tuned for an official announcement, but the exhibition is expected to debut around November as the storied Parisian gallery opens its U.S. space on the corner of 73rd Street and Madison Avenue at the former Bank of New York building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
