Ballers Eve was established in 2003 when Ponce “Minski Walker” and Jordan “DJ Dirrty” decided they wanted to bring to NYC an all-Southern radio show to represent the music and artists that they all knew so well from growing up in Atlanta, Georgia. The vehicle was eastvillageradio.com and the purpose was to not only to play music but to also find new artists and give them the right tools to be more than they could ever hope to be. Recently, NYC photographer Patrick Buckley and Ballers Eve have collaborated to put on a photo and zine show at the aNYthing store – with both a photo exhibition comprised of 70 black-and-white photos as well as a mixtape featuring the likes of Big Boi, Andre 3000, Sleepy Brown, Main Attrakionz feat. A$AP Rocky, S.T. 2Lettaz, Trinidad James, Go Dreamer, Jackie Chain and more. The event is this Sunday, February 17 at the aNYthing store while a two-track preview of the mixtape is available for streaming below.
