Convention dictates that a magazine be a bounded print publication with extensive ads, witty articles and captivating photography. With the information age continuing to strengthen its grasp however, magazines have begun expanding to the viral pages in efforts to reaching more people for less. Adding to that growing list of internet publications, we would like to shine the spotlight on Accent Magazine and its very first issue. Labeled a portrait project, “Each issue features ten diverse portraits from across the globe, showcasing inspirational individuals and unconventional lifestyles. Collaborating with writers, photographers, directors and film-makers, Accent provides a platform for stories that are often overlooked.” Check out the first issue of this quarterly here.
