VICE meets Portuguese graffiti artist André Saraiva who is exhibiting at The Hole Gallery in New York. Apart from graffiti, drawings and LEGO-inspired models of clubs in a mini Vegas-like city, Mr. A‘s central showpieces include a bronze Mickey Mouse with an enormous erection and a huge pink dildo that gives rides for coins. The artist, who attributes his phallic-themed art to having been really good at drawing private parts at school, has thankfully done better than most porn illustrators. He started the club empire Le Baron in Paris and is famous for Parisian mailbox graffiti in the early French days of street art. This video gives us an insightful glimpse at Monsieur André’s psyche.
