Celebrating the creative class and its spirit of freedom and independence – a never-ending source of inspiration for both brands – Generic Surplus and OBEY present this short film in honor of their collaborative Fall 2012 footwear collection. Dubbed “Disciplines” and set in Los Angeles, the film features Dum Dum Girls bassist, director and photographer Malia James, DJ and producer Gaslamp Killer, and skateboarder/artist Gareth Stehr as the trio share the stories of their craft and journeys to the Southern California metropolis. Highlighted throughout the video, the OBEY for Generic Surplus Fall 2012 line of footwear is now available at select retailers and online.
