Due to a number of cultural, political and social reasons, the once booming city of Detroit has become a shell of what it once was: a place home to some of the most important accomplishments in the fields of art, music and design. Having fallen in love with the city after seeking a change in scenery, world-renowned artist Revok called in a number of respective colleagues and friends to add a dash of color and inspiration to a city that boasts uninhabited stretches that rival the entire width of San Francisco as part of The Detroit Beautification Project. Featured contributions include masterworks from the likes of Revok, Wane, Pose, Ces, Dmote, Nekst, Askew, Tristan Eaton, Sever, Zes, Vizie, Omens, Steel, Reyes, Risk and Don’t. While this is just a tip of the proverbial artistic iceberg, expect much more coming out of The Motor City in the coming months.
