Diverse Self-Portraits Take Over Nahmad Contemporary's 'Yours Truly' Show

Featuring works by Rita Ackermann, Sasha Gordon, Arthur Jafa, among others.

Nahmad Contemporary, located in New York City, will unveil its latest summer group exhibition, Yours Truly, on July 10. The exhibition will highlight recent self-portraits from over 50 living contemporary artists, including renowned names like Rita Ackermann, Sasha Gordon, Arthur Jafa, Danielle Mckinney, Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, Wolfgang Tillmans, and Salman Toor.

Curated by Eleanor Cayre, Yours Truly presents a diverse collection of self-portraits that delve into how artists perceive themselves in 2024. The exhibition does not adhere to a singular style or uniform rubric, instead offering a rich tapestry of experiences and perspectives through various mediums, reflecting the contemporary state of self-portraiture.
