'Holzer-isms: Artist’s Edition' Revisits Jenny Holzer's 'Truisms'
Six foldout posters and a booklet within a foil-stamped box pay homage to Holzer’s powerful word-based art.
Renowned conceptual artist Jenny Holzer has wielded the English language in a powerful and provocative way, challenging societal norms with her artwork. Beyond her impact in the art space, she’s also made a significant impact in the fashion world as well — teaming up with Virgil Abloh for the story behind his Off-White™ Spring/Summer 2018 Pitti Uomo show, in addition to creating a t-shirt with Abloh for Planned Parenthood that released in 2017 and was re-issued in 2022.
Now, to commemorate her iconic word-art, Holzer-isms: Artist’s Edition captures a selection of Holzer’s Truisms. Six foldout posters designed by the artist are included within a cloth-covered, foil-stamped box in orange. In addition to this, a booklet outlining her career, offering a biography of Holzer and introducing Truisms, is included as well.
