In a new creative partnership from Johnnie Walker, the leading Scotch Whisky brand teams up with AIR-INK® to produce five exclusive bottle designs. Titled the Johnnie Walker “Keep Walking City Collection”, the bottles showcase intricately printed illustrations from five global artists using AIR-INK® – an ink made from air pollution by recycling carbon emissions.

Each limited-edition bottle comes boldly masked in a white layer with black linework designs. Capturing the essence of life, history and stories from the artists’ respective home cities, the bottles feature recognizable monuments and other iconography in their designs. Warsaw-based Alek Morawski uses his bottle as a map, intricately illustrated in distinctive Polish architecture and people, whilst acclaimed visual artist Shilo Shiv Suleman from Delhi and street artist Okuda San Miguel from Madrid look to the more natural backdrops of their cities.

Mural painter Mr Hure designs a piece that encapsulates Istanbul’s diverse array of inhabitants. Rounding off the initial collection, Gongkan from Bangkok looks to futuristic inspiration as he illustrates the power and hope of the next generation.

The sustainable collection has already proved to be hugely popular, selling out in Warsaw and Bangkok in just over a week. Johnnie Walker’s Global Brand Director Julie Bramham says, “Johnnie Walker is built on a legacy of making positive, progressive choices and to bring this collection to life we asked artists to shine a light on what makes their city special and inspires people to come together to Keep Walking. We are really thrilled by the unique depictions that have come out of this brief and combined with the AIR-INK partnership it demonstrates the power of combining art and innovation, making this limited edition range a true collectible.”

The limited edition Johnnie Walker Black Label “Keep Walking City Collection” is available to buy now online and in select retail outlets. Further cities will be announced in the coming months. For more information, head to the Johnnie Walker website now.
