Miles Johnston Releases 'Inktober' Prints Featuring Surrealist Subjects

A total of six letterpress prints starring otherworldly characters.

Sweden-based visual artist Miles Johnston is widely-recognized for his highly-intricate illustrations that portray surrealist subjects in various scenarios. Armed with a ballpoint pen, Johnston’s black-and-white drawings predominantly spotlight head-split female subjects with morphed features alongside visuals of thinly-drawn eyeballs, melting bodies, and unearthly objects crawling out of gaping wounds.

Johnston recently teamed up with UK-based Black Dragon Press on an edition of prints featuring a number of his signature artworks. Described as an ‘Inktober’ special, the launch encompasses a total of six letterpress prints sized at 10 x10 inches. Each edition is signed and numbered by the artist with a gallery stamp on the reverse of each piece for further authenticity.

View the prints above and purchase available prints at Black Dragon Press’s website for £30 GBP apiece (approximately $37 USD).
