This Abandoned Spanish Convent Is Filled with Impactful Artworks

As part of a two-month residency hosting over 50 multidisciplinary artists.

Void Projects, a cultural project founded by multi-faceted artist Axel Void, is launching a new initiative called Creença. The creative endeavor is essentially a two-month residency that will host over 50 local, national, and international artists to create diverse artworks in a 19th-century convent in Catalonia, Spain. The residency will culminate in a three-day event that spotlights live performances and open discussions. Participating artists include Ernest Zacharevic, Axel Void, Sekone, Gabriel Coca, Ivan Floro, Ed Zumba, Bernie Puig, Julia Santa Olalla, and more.

“Creença intends to foster a sense of community within our movement and reinforce the ideology of dialogue and cohabitation between artists during the creative process. Searching together for a commonplace between tradition and progressive thoughts,” said Void Projects.
