On view until September 3.

Ahead of the Barbican Art Gallery’s retrospective in Oakland this October is “The World of Charles and Ray Eames” that spotlights the iconic design duo’s prolific career at the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Michigan. The landmark exhibition features over 400 archival materials touching upon Eames architecture, furniture, graphic design, products such as the iconic Lounge Chair, paintings, remastered prints, films, photography, and more. Visitors will also learn about the intimate everyday life of the design mavens who had a profound influence on the development of modern architecture and furniture as a whole.
