teamLab's New 3D Installation Lets You Interact with Artworks

Launching soon at the National Gallery Singapore.

teamLab continues to elevate its immersive artworks with its upcoming installation at the National Gallery Singapore. Titled Walk, Walk, Walk: Search, Deviate, Reunite and Flowers and People – Dark, visitors are enticed to touch projected figures on the interactive wall panels at the sizable space. The installation is more or less a labyrinth in which digital characters guide visitors throughout varying sections of the installation.

“As the visitor navigate through this experience, his or her sense of direction will continuously be presented with options, which path to take, which image to follow or interact with,” said the gallery in a statement. “The anonymity and multiplicity of the individual characters in space empowers the spectators to create their pockets of stories – make their own choices towards what they deem as the path to enlightenment.”

Watch the clip above to get a closer look at the installation which opens this January 5 and concludes August 12. Visit teamLab’s official website to learn more and view more projects.
