Netflix's 'Abstract: The Art of Design' Will Spotlight the World's Most Creative Minds

Tinker Hatfield, Bjarke Ingels, Es Devlin and more.

Netflix has recently unveiled the official trailer for its upcoming original documentary series called Abstract: The Art of Design. The show will delve into the minds of several of the world’s most iconic artists, designers, photographers, architects and more. In this official trailer, we get a glimpse of the creative processes of Tinker Hatfield (Nike Shoe Designer), Bjarke Ingels (Architect), Es Devlin (Stage Designer), Ilse Crawford (Interior Designer), Christoph Niemann (Illustrator), Paula Scher (Graphic Designer), Platon (Photographer) and Ralph Gilles (Automobile Designer).

“You’re looking for a moment when you feel you’re as close to the soul,” exclaims Platon in the inaugural official trailer. “That’s what good design is.” Watch the video above and expect the first episode to premiere on January 21 at the Sundance Film Festival with a worldwide launch on Netflix this February 10.
