Vans Recruits Nine Global Photographers for 2016 All Weather MTE Collection

Culling 10,000 iPhone images snapped from Seoul, Korea all the way to Alaska.

2016 marks the 50th anniversary for world-renowned action sports label Vans. To celebrate this incredible achievement, the American manufacturer started a global campaign that involved the recruitment of nine inspiring photographers from across the globe who have a knack for capturing outdoor adventure and action sports visuals. The shutterbugs were given footwear and apparel from Vans’s 2016 All Weather MTE collection and were instructed to take photos of the heavy-duty products in action — with the iPhone 6s Plus as their only shooting device.

Photographers Chad Chomlack, Chad Huff, Charles Lanceplaine, James North, Jay Meador, Jeff Han, Matt Georges, Nolan Hall and Pete Williams were selected to be a part of the campaign. From Seoul, Korea all the way to Alaska, these tireless shooters snapped approximately 10,000 images and videos for the collection that is set to launch on September 21.
