Richard “Richie” Mirando, who goes by the name SEEN is one of the most well-known graffiti artists in the world. Hailing from the Bronx, New York, him and his crew, United Artists were some of the first to popularize painting on trains. In his sit-down with Between the Lines, he talks about the thrill of painting his first trains, how it has changed since the ’70s, moving his work to canvas, and bringing his New York aesthetic to Europe.
