Phaidon Releases a Comprehensive Book on Sterling Ruby

With text by the Raf Simons collaborator himself.

Sterling Ruby’s artwork — which encompasses a wide range of media, from sculpture, ceramics and painting to video — have been exhibited throughout the most prestigious galleries around the world. The LA-based artist is influenced by societal issues and sub cultural elements like gangs, graffiti, hip-hop and waste, resulting in works that are often seemingly ruinous. Ruby’s aesthetic has resounded with Raf Simons, with whom he’s collaborated for years and is rumored to do so again. The 160-page book by Phaidon features Ruby’s own writing, so get your hands on the printed matter while you can.
