“They can’t see the forest for the trees”

Another year of Forest for the Trees has passed, and most of the murals created for the event has been completed. The name of the event comes from the saying “they can’t see the forest for the trees,” which alludes to the inability of people to see the bigger picture because they are solely focused on one thing. The aim of the event is to encourage Portland residents to stray away from their daily routines with beautiful art, and beautiful the murals sure are. Learn more here.
