Having launched just last year, Sydney-based independent magazine Future Perfect has unveiled its third issue. Offering “a uniquely Australian perspective on world news and culture,” Future Perfect presents an eclectic mix of curious stories, covering such subjects as Lockheed Martin’s ultimately failed venture to build and sell the next-gen F-35 fighter jet, prolific Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s battle with epilepsy, and an essay on Australia’s immigration policies illustrated with the drawings of children in detention centers. Within the pages of issue 3, you can find stories on the bikie gang culture of Australia, as well as an aerial photo essay of the alien landscapes of Iceland.
