Following February’s news that he was set to launch his very own internet TV channel, Tyler, The Creator is set to supplement that launch with both an app and magazine. The Golf Media app is set to be available for both iOS and Android while fans who register at golfwang.com before downloading will have access to two months worth of free programming, as well as the premiere issue of the upcoming Golf Magazine. Golf Media subscribers will pay a monthly $4.99 USD fee and content is set to begin appearing on the app at 9 p.m. EDT tonight.
In a recent interview with The FADER, Tyler and Odd Future manager Christian Clancy claimed that the new app will feature “a bunch of different things that are original, curated and constantly changing,” and will include “original series, content, live streaming, radio, tour stuff, Golf Wang, interactive and whatever other buzzwords that sound mildly annoying and marketing-like.”
