INSA's GIF-ITI Project Covers North Portland
INSA creates a mural for the Open School North in Portland with disadvantaged youths.

INSA’s longrunning GIF-ITI project has sought to photograph multi-layer handpainted graffiti murals, turning them into beautiful mind-bending GIFs. This time around, his project aims to help the disadvantaged in North Portland. Teaming up with Hollywood Theater, INSA worked with over 50 youths from the Open School North. The mural features roses — a homage to Portland, also known as the City of Roses in addition to a goat, which is the school’s mascot. The students, aged 11-14 partook in the craft and undertook over 80 percent of the painting.
