Both Paris and Rome have some of the most beautiful and renowned architecture in the world, something that remains apparent even when looking at the interiors of the two cities’ countless libraries. Shining a spotlight these intricate studies is the ongoing “House of Books” series by photographer Frank Bohbot. Throughout, Bohbot showcases the interiors of various university and public libraries, highlighting the likes of the Sorbonne, Piazza Sant’Agostino square’s Biblioteca Angelica, and many more. Though currently limited in scope to the French and Italian capitals, Bohbot plans to highlight additional spots across Europe, Asia, North America, and South America in the future.
